Description
The origin of the “Сharentais” melons is France, but now it is being cultivated in various tropical countries. Melons of this brand are the smallest of all, but foodies recognize them as the most delicious and fragrant. The qualities of these melons are similar to the cantaloupe. The plant is long-leafed, powerful, strongly branched. Fruits are not large, up to a kilogram. The rind is thin. The pulp is fragrant, juicy, sweet, with a high content of sugar and carotene, it has an orange color. Fruits have a round, slightly flattened shape. The rind has smooth longitudinal grooves. Just like cantaloupe, the “Сharentais” melons are low-calorie and rich in useful elements.
